Ways to Get Involved
The Humane Society of Calloway County is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the animals of Calloway County. We are able to help only because of volunteers and good Samaritans in the community. Without our fellow animals lovers, we would not be able
to fund our programs and provide assistance to pets and pet owners when it is needed.

Become a Member
We know that not everyone can volunteer at this time but just about everyone can make a monetary donation to help the animals. Become a member of The Humane Society of Calloway County today! Fill out our membership form and mail it or bring it to the office or you can click on the Donate button to the left and include your contact information with the membership donation. Membership is tax-deductible.

Volunteer
Our programs and events are run by members and volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, complete our volunteer application. We have volunteer opportunities for just about everyone, including those who want to work directly with the animals and those who don't.

University student internships are available each semester. If you are seeking a fun and meaningful internship opportunity, call us at (270) 759-1884 and then complete our internship application.

Donate Items
Local animals in crisis benefit from donations to the Animal Assistance Program. We always need the following:
* dog houses, igloo-type
* Capstar for cats and dogs
* kennels or fencing
* copier paper
* Frontline, Revolution & Advantage flea and tick protection
* towels, old or new
* dry cat and dog food
* food and water containers, outdoor-use
* heartworm prevention
* gift certificates at any veterinarian
* Turbo Scratcher for cats
* Scoopable kitty litter
* Kong toys for dogs
* tarps
* Booda or Nyla bones
* new cat brushes
* folding suitcase-style wire crate kennels
* stainless steel litter box

Become a Foster Parent
Many animals come to us needing foster families until they can be placed in a permanent
home. If you have what it takes to care for a foster animal until we can find a forever home,
complete our foster home application.

Make a Donation
Monetary donations are always needed and appreciated. Donate online by clicking the link on the left or mail donations directly to the Humane Society of Calloway County, P.O. Box 764, Murray, KY 42071 or come to our office at the Weaks Community Center, 607 Poplar Street, Suite A on the first floor.
